
Kathleen Wilson-Thompson has been Kellogg Company’s senior vice president, global human resources since December 2005. She is also a member of the company’s executive management committee. Ms. Wilson-Thompson joined the company in January of 1992 as a senior attorney. She
was promoted to counsel in July of 1992 and to corporate counsel in January of 1995. She then assumed the role of human resources manager for the Memphis plant from March 1995 to November 1996, when she became the human resources manager for the Battle Creek plant.
In January 1998, Ms. Wilson-Thompson returned to the legal department as corporate counsel, and was promoted to chief counsel, labor and employment in November 2001, a position she held until October 2003. At that time, she was promoted to vice president, chief counsel U.S. businesses, labor and
employment. In July 2005, she was promoted to vice president, global human resources. Ms. Wilson-Thompson is a member of the Special Contributions Fund Board of Trustees of the NAACP, and a past member of numerous other charitable organizations assisting children and families in need, as well
as a present member of several professional organizations.
She received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctor degree and master of laws degree in corporate and finance law from Wayne State University.
Ms. Wilson-Thompson and her husband, Don, reside in Portage, Michigan. They have one daughter.
