Aulana L. Peters

Aulana L. Peters is a retired partner at the law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Ms. Peters has served on the board of the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees, as well as the Boards of Directors of Deere & Company, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., and 3M Company. Ms. Peters also previously held a seat on the Board of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Inc.

Ms. Peters was a Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from 1984 to 1988. Ms. Peters started her legal career as an associate at and was a partner at the firm from 1980 to 1984 and 1988 to 2000.

Ms. Peters is also a member of the U.S. Comptroller General’s Accountability Advisory Council and the International Public Interest Oversight Board, which oversees the standard setting process of the International Federation of Accountants for auditing, assurance, independence and ethics standards. From January 2001 to April 2002, Ms. Peters served as a member of the Public Oversight Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Peters earned her B.A. in psychology from the College of New Rochelle and graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California Law School.
