Angelee Bouchard is the former Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT), a California-based Fortune 500 health insurance company that delivers managed health care services through health plans and government-sponsored managed care plans.

During Ms. Bouchard’s tenure from 2006 to 2015, Health Net generated more than $17 billion in annual revenues and provided health benefits to approximately 6 million individuals across the country. She was responsible for the overall management of the Legal Department and for all legal and regulatory affairs. She reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer and served on the company’s Executive Committee.

Ms. Bouchard has been actively involved with DirectWomen since 2007 and serves as a Trustee and Vice President. She is a graduate of the UCLA DirectWomen Board Institute and has previously served as a panel moderator for the institute. Ms. Bouchard currently serves on the boards of several companies including the California HealthCare Foundation.

Previously, Ms. Bouchard was a partner with the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles, where she specialized in complex civil and securities litigation. She also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School.

Ms. Bouchard received her B.A. from UCLA and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and was an editor of the Loyola Law Review.
