Gina Beredo

OVERVIEW
A trusted executive leader and Board advisor, Gina currently serves as chief administrative officer for Owens Corning (NYSE: OC), a market leader in North America and Europe in roofing, insulation, doors, and other building materials, with $10B+ in revenue (2025), operations in 31+ countries, and 25,000+ employees. She manages an international team of 500+ members and oversees human resources, legal, compliance, government affairs, corporate communications, corporate aviation, and community affairs. Based on her diverse experience, she was selected to chair the Steering Committee for the company’s largest acquisition, a ~$4B step-out, with accountability to the board for delivering shareholder value through synergy capture (exceeding goal of $125MM synergy capture in first two years of ownership), change management, and culture assimilation.

Gina brings over 15 years of public company boardroom experience from three public companies, with her first Audit Committee appearance occurring while she was at American Greetings (formerly, NYSE: AG) in 2010. Since that time, she has guided boards on critical strategic and operational matters, as well as overall risk management, while also serving as corporate secretary for Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) and Owens Corning (NYSE: OC). She advised the Compensation, Audit, Governance and Nominating committees, and through that work, developed a deep expertise in executive compensation, audit and financial matters, Board oversight and enterprise risk, and corporate governance, with a special emphasis on transformational acquisitions. Her experience includes supporting the board through director, CEO, and CFO searches and onboarding, and crisis management. Gina advises on a variety of sensitive and complex topics including geopolitical impact on global operations, shareholder activism, cybersecurity risk, and best-in-class corporate governance policies to assist the board in carrying out its fiduciary duties. Due to her exemplary board work, she was nominated by directors and recognized with two Modern Governance awards.

In addition to board service at various nonprofit organizations, Gina has focused her career on empowering young women to pursue STEM careers through innovative and engaging programming, and has been recognized as a STEM leader by multiple organizations for her work in this space. She also served as Board President of a Montessori school, leading it through a capital campaign, head of school search (filling the position held by the founder of the school and who served for 40 years), and COVID.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Gina drives corporate strategy and leads global human resources, legal, government affairs, community affairs, corporate communication, and aviation teams for Owens Corning. She was previously tasked with leading investor relations to drive the storytelling of the Masonite acquisition and the 2025 investor day. With her role expansion to CAO, investor relations responsibilities returned to the CFO. She continues to serve as a key member of the executive team, developing and executing long-term strategic plans, overseeing government lobbying efforts, and driving change. She champions cross-culture communication and collaboration through her management of 500+ global team members. Implementing her passion for coaching youth sports, Gina has focused on talent development and a culture committed to ensuring each team member reaches their highest potential. Gina’s strength in human capital has resulted in numerous employees following her to new roles at different companies.

Before she joined Owens Corning, Gina served as Executive Vice President & General Counsel at Nordson Corporation from 2018-2021 and as Deputy General Counsel from 2013-2017. She served as an executive team member since 2013 and assisted the company in completing over 20 acquisitions, including a transformative, step-out acquisition, supporting a reverse integration as well as serving on each transaction’s integration steering committee. With the executive team, she led the company to consistently outperform the S&P each year during her time at Nordson.
Gina spent nearly 7 years at American Greetings, where she held several roles of increasing responsibility, including litigation, product compliance, and ethics, including a role in risk management that reported to the treasurer. While at American Greetings, she developed and implemented the company’s first enterprise risk assessment and reported the results to the Audit Committee. Prior to American Greetings, Gina practiced business and corporate litigation at a national law firm.

Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Saint Louis University and her Juris Doctor at Indiana University-Bloomington. In May 2025, Gina began the CHRO program from the Wharton School of Business Executive Education at University of Pennsylvania, which is a year-long program designed to gain strategic insight, leadership mindset and advanced tools to elevate the HR function, strengthen organizational performance and shape the future of work.
