Loria is President & CEO of the YMCA of Greater Seattle. She serves on the Board of Directors of Laird Norton Company and its Nominating Committee.  She served on the Board of TiVo Corporation, as First Vice Chair of Legal Momentum (Women’s Legal Defense and Education Fund), Chair of the Investment Subcommittee of the National Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of the USA, and a member of StolenYouth’s Board of Directors.  Loria has a proven record of accomplishment managing P&Ls, building and leading small and large global executive teams, establishing growth strategies, raising and deploying capital, demonstrating investment impact, and catalyzing action while consistently exceeding objectives and driving social change.  She has served in many strategic roles in various industries and markets from high tech to manufacturing companies, non-profit leadership, and fund/investment management.  She is a champion and advocate for equity and justice for all, especially youth and families in marginalized communities. 

Loria recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of StolenYouth where she transitioned the organization from board- to staff-led and established a sustainable operating platform to achieve its bigger mission – to end child sex trafficking in Washington state. Formerly, she was General Manager & Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Transportation business at Intellectual Ventures (IV) in Bellevue, Washington.  From 2009, she also served as IV’s EVP and head of the Invention Investment Fund (IIF) Organization and its Chief IP Counsel, and in both roles, she designed and developed the foundation for these organizations, established fund investment and product development strategies, and streamlined fund operations.  Loria served as an executive sponsor for key strategic licensing transactions and established the litigation department, positioning litigation as a strategic business option for IV.  In these roles, Loria managed a team of over 150 people and an annual budget of over $60M. 

Prior to joining IV in 2009, Loria served as Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Intellectual Property International, CEO and Board Chair for Honeywell Intellectual Properties Inc., and the Chief IP Litigation Counsel of Honeywell International Inc.  At Honeywell, Loria was responsible for managing, licensing, and enforcement of a portfolio of 31,000 global patents, directing a matrixed team of over 100 employees and consultants and managing a multimillion-dollar budget.   

Prior to Honeywell, Loria served as Senior Counsel for Telcordia Technologies, Inc. (formerly Bellcore) in Morristown, New Jersey, where she managed patent portfolios, M&A activities, and other IP transactional matters and was responsible for all trademark and copyright matters for the company. 

Loria received a Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall School of Law, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Virginia. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and Washington, and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 

Loria currently serves as a member of the National Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of the USA and its audit and investment committees.  Loria has served as a member of the Jefferson Scholars National and Regional Selection Committees, and she previously served on the Board of Trustees for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Virginia.  

Loria is an active member of WomenCorporateDirectors, and in 2014, she completed the DirectWomen Institute and the Women’s Director Development Program at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.  She also served as Master of Ceremonies for Legal Momentum’s Women of Achievement and Aiming High Awards events.
