Peggy Heeg, a seasoned board member, has a unique combination of large public company executive management and board service, international law firm management experience and government service. Heeg has served on the Board of Directors and the Audit Committees of Columbia Pipeline Partners and Eagle Rock Energy. In 2015, Heeg was appointed by the Governor of Texas to the Texas Lottery Commission, which contributes in excess of $1 billion annually to the state. Heeg previously served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of El Paso Corporation and is currently a partner with Reed Smith LLP, an international law firm.
Heeg has a proven record of success in executing and leading complex organizations, developing and implementing organizational strategy and risk management programs. She has been recognized for a decade by Chambers & Partners as a leading energy lawyer and by Best Lawyers in America for Energy Law and Corporate Governance & Compliance.
Heeg has served on the Board of Directors of many non-profit organizations and is currently a member of the Board of DirectWomen.
