Anirma Gupta is an accomplished business executive with over 30 years of broad experience at publicly traded global companies as well as high growth stage startups in the technology industry, including cybersecurity, privacy, SaaS, financial software and B2C. She has deep expertise in understanding and addressing challenging corporate, business, regulatory and legal issues. Ms. Gupta has enabled business results through the delivery of guidance to senior management of corporations on strategic issues as well as technology initiatives, risk management, crisis management, corporate communications, and change management. Ms. Gupta has further extensive experience in interacting with boards and their committees on corporate governance, executive compensation, equity management, performance management, leadership development, risk management, investigations, regulatory, transactions, and compliance matters.

Ms. Gupta is currently Chief Legal Officer, at Unity a publicly traded global platform SaaS company enabling creators to create and operate interactive, real time 3D content. Ms. Gupta is responsible for setting strategic direction for the global legal, compliance and equity operations functions and has advised the company and the board through data centric product launches, business model changes, international business issues, and executive team management changes. Ms. Gupta’s team spans North America, EMEA, the Middle East and Asia and she further has responsibility for managing the global legal and compliance budget. She works extensively with the Company’s board and committees, attending and presenting at these meetings.

Prior to Unity, Ms. Gupta has held similar roles at startups, including Tanium Inc., a cyber security and systems management software company where she helped the company scale its employee base 5x, expand in over a dozen international countries, negotiate strategic partner and government contracting initiatives, and raise approximately $500M in venture funding. Prior to Tanium, Ms. Gupta was at Intuit, a publicly traded financial software company where she advised the company’s payroll business and served as an advisor to the CTO organization, leading negotiations on a transformative technology partnership initiative and cross company change management and technology projects. Ms. Gupta also has law firm experience as a patent litigator.

Ms. Gupta is also a co-founder and board member emeritus of a non-profit dedicated to the promotion and advancement of women in technology, policy and law. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Gupta holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
