Tamara has built her career at the intersection of strategic growth, innovation and governance. As Chair, NED, Managing Partner and trusted advisor, she is known for shaping strategy at the highest levels while supporting executive teams to deliver bold, sustainable change. She combines sharp commercial instinct with a collaborative leadership style, grounded in hands-on experience of scaling businesses, leading through disruption and building cultures where people and performance thrive. Her approach blends strategic clarity with practical delivery, helping organisations navigate complexity, accelerate growth and future-proof their operations.
Today, Tamara sits on a range of boards across sectors, bringing a strong focus on governance, leadership and growth. She is Chair of Interpath Advisory, where she helped guide the firm’s rapid international expansion and governance evolution following its spin-out from KPMG. She is also an Advisory Board Member to private equity-owned AI fintech, Inveztor, and a Trustee and Committee Chair at the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), leading their flagship CMI Women initiative, championing the next generation of diverse leadership. She is also a senior advisor to global education charity Theirworld, reflecting her passion for innovation, talent development and social impact. Previous roles include NED at private equity firm Hanover Investors where she helped craft a medium-term growth and operational strategy, including the founder succession plan.
Alongside her non-executive career, Tamara played a pivotal leadership role at Reed Smith LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms. As a long-standing member of the firm’s senior management team, she has helped shape Reed Smith’s global strategy, operations and growth. She founded and built the firm’s Structured Finance practice into one of its top-performing global divisions, while acting as a trusted advisor to some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients, working side-by-side with global institutions to navigate transformational deals, cross-border expansion, regulatory change and strategic risk.
Additionally, as Managing Partner for Europe and the Middle East for seven years, Tamara led major international growth initiatives, spearheaded regulatory innovation, and drove firm-wide operational transformations. These have included building Reed Smith’s first global shared services platform and creating its strategic advisory board to strengthen resilience, innovation and competitiveness for the future. Her leadership has consistently been credited with driving performance while embedding a values-driven, forward-looking culture.
Tamara’s contribution has been recognised through multiple awards, including her selection as one of the Fifty Most Influential Lawyers by Financial News, Law Firm Leader of the Year at the Women in Law Awards, and a consistent ranking as a Global HERoes Champion of Women in Business.
She holds a J.D. (Hons) from Georgetown University, a B.Sc. (Hons) in Monetary Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a proud Founding Member of the 30% Club, a Member of Women Corporate Directors, and the C200 global women’s leadership network.
