Anirma Gupta is an accomplished business executive with broad experience in the technology industry, including cybersecurity and privacy. She has a proven track record of managing challenging corporate, business and legal issues, with the demonstrated ability to advise and provide strategic analysis on technology, products, business strategy, risk management, and regulatory and compliance matters.
Ms. Gupta is currently SVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Carbon, Inc., a leader in the additive manufacturing industry making innovative 3D printers, polymer resins and software. Prior to Carbon, Ms. Gupta was General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Tanium Inc., a revolutionary cyber security and systems management software company. Both at Carbon as well as at Tanium, Ms. Gupta advised the Company and the Board on business strategy implementation, managing global compliance and a variety of legal issues associated with a high growth stage company. Ms. Gupta additionally built legal teams at both companies to address a broad range of global legal and compliance issues as the companies grew domestically and internationally. Through her experience at Tanium Inc., Ms. Gupta has developed an understanding of the cyber security issues facing large enterprises and the value of effective cyber security education and solutions.
Prior to joining Tanium, Ms. Gupta held a number of roles with increasing breadth of responsibility, including with Intuit, Inc., where in addition to managing several legal functions, she was a strategic member of several cross-company technology and change management initiatives and regularly presented to the company’s Audit Committee. Ms. Gupta has also held roles at Sun Microsystems as well as in private practice as a patent litigator.
Ms. Gupta is also a co-founder and board member of a non-profit dedicated to the promotion and advancement of women in technology, policy and law and has volunteered with the Tech Talent Project and Lawyers for Biden. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Gupta holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
