Marjorie De La Cruz

Marjorie De La Cruz is a senior executive in PepsiCo’s $7.5 billion-dollar Latin America food and beverage business with over 20+ years of corporate, Board, strategic and operational experience. Marjorie is an integral member of the LatAm Executive Committee, engaged in strategic, operational and crisis-management decision making for its 70,000-employee business. In addition, her service on the Boards of Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC, a PepsiCo joint venture with Beam Suntory, the PepsiCo Federal Credit Union, and the Tahirih Justice Center have given Marjorie critical corporate and non-profit Board of Director experience including serving on the relevant Compensation and Audit Committees. Marjorie’s corporate governance experience, cross-cultural acumen and Spanish language skills has given her the unique ability to serve as an executive leader that bridges between the needs of a growing business in developing markets while ensuring strong corporate governance, compliance and sound risk management required of a Fortune 50 publicly traded company.
Marjorie’s entire career is notable for the balance between business growth, risk mitigation and sound judgment. From her educational background as a lawyer, with a master’s degree in communications, Marjorie’s technical foundation in mergers and acquisitions evolved to a broader business experience after joining PepsiCo in 2004. Marjorie has continued her trajectory in a variety of roles at PepsiCo expanding her expertise to further include regulatory, compliance, cybersecurity/privacy, intellectual property, operations, labor relations, marketing and bottler franchise in both the United States and international markets. As an executive, Marjorie has worked directly with the P&L owners as well as with members of PepsiCo’s Executive Committee on numerous global transformation projects.
Marjorie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, New York University and Fordham University School of Law. Marjorie is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Jack and Jill of America Inc. and is passionate about her work as a Board member of the Tahirih Justice Center which provides legal, social and legislative advocacy services to immigrant women.
Marjorie resides in Bedford, NY with her husband and twin boys and enjoys traveling and playing classical piano.
