Meena Elliott is a multi-faceted C-suite executive having led legal and human resources and business ethics functions for Aviat Networks, Inc. Aviat Networks is publicly listed and was formed through a “merger of equals between a division of L3Harris and Stratex Networks.

Meena brings an enterprise-wide, global approach to business challenges and opportunities faced by companies in different lifecycle stages and possesses a depth and breadth of experience in the technology, consumer goods, media and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Aviat Networks, formerly known as Harris Stratex Networks, Inc., she held executive roles at Energizer and early-stage XM Satellite Radio in brand marketing holding profit and loss responsibility, led commercialization and business scaling efforts. She handled challenging corporate issues while integrating strategy, evaluating enterprise risk, incorporating shareholder considerations, corporate governance and compliance matters. She also served as a Chief Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
As a member of Aviat Networks’ executive management team, she developed corporate strategy, including assessing acquisitions and divestitures and managing complex international issues. She led Aviat Networks through several challenging situations, including the company’s potential delisting from the NASDAQ stock exchange stemming from factors that included a forensic investigation and extended audit. Her leadership experience reflects her ability to manage crises situations and ask discerning questions to guide all stakeholders to successful resolutions. In addition, as the CHRO, she held responsibility for executive compensation, succession planning, talent management and retention and organizational development.
An advisory board member with multi-industry experience with businesses in different lifecycles, Meena brings expertise in Board risk oversight, corporate governance, assessment of financial statements, operational knowledge, executive compensation and succession planning in the domestic and international arenas. In addition to understanding the issues, her collaborative style and ability to understand the dynamics of various situations have played a significant role in her success.
She serves as an Investment Committee member for Purple Arch Ventures, Advisory Board member for Entefy, Inc. Golden Poppy, Inc. and Silver Stratus Lining, Inc. Meena is the First Vice Chair of Legal Momentum, a national non-profit and gives back to the Indian community by mentoring up and coming professionals. She graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in classics and from Washington University in St. Louis with a juris doctor and master’s in business degrees. She is a Legal Momentum 2016 Women of Achievement honoree and named by Silicon Valley Business Journal as the “2018 Corporate Counsel – Public Company”.
