Currently serving as the Managing Partner of the San Francisco Office of Pillsbury LLP, a Global 100 Law Firm, Roxane is responsible for a $100 million P&L, manages and collaborates with business managers and provides strategic guidance and vision for the Office. As Chair of Pillsbury’s SF Lateral Expansion Task Force, Roxane created an expansion initiative which achieved unprecedented partner growth in the office during constricted market conditions.
Roxane handles significant antitrust and competition litigation for Fortune 500 companies in the electronic, retail, technology, healthcare, and other sectors. In that capacity, she advises Boards regarding risks and resolution strategies in these high-stakes cases.
Roxane’s key leadership positions in the Firm include serving on the Compensation Committee and the Board Nominating Committee and helping to provide the Firm with the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives. She significantly improved the compensation process and Board composition through successful collaboration and revenue growth planning resulting in substantial increases in profits per partner. Roxane also serves as the Global Leader of the Antitrust & Competition Team and has increased the Team’s revenue by over 25% in the last five years while rationalizing assets and improving efficiency. She has significant experience participating in Board of Director Education Programs, including with the DirectWomen and HowWomenLead organizations. Roxane was chosen for the 2020-2021 DirectWomen Board Institute, a highly selective program that aims to increase diversity on corporate boards. She is currently serving on the Leadership Committee of the HowWomenLead GetOnBoard Week 2021.
Roxane serves as Board Member on the San Francisco Committee on Jobs, a Board that is comprised of CEOs and other leaders of major SF Bay Area corporations where she collaborates on legislative and political strategies to advance business interests. Roxane served on the Board of the Legal Aid Society of San Francisco, as well as the Executive Committee, Sustainability Committee and External Relations Committee, where she supported senior management in pursuing critical objectives for transformation of the organization. The SF Business Times has recognized Roxane’s leadership and business influence as a “Most Influential Woman in Business” in 2017 and again in 2018, and then in 2020 as a “Forever Influential Leader.”
In the State Bar of California’s Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section, she served as Chair, as an Executive Committee member, and is a current Advisor to the Section. She led growth and marketing strategies that resulted in increasing Section revenues by 30%.
Roxane was recognized as one of the Daily Journal’s 2020 Top Antitrust Lawyers, and for years has received recognition by Chambers, Best Lawyers in America and The Legal 500 U.S. for her antitrust expertise. Last year she was selected as a Gamechanger in a special edition of UC Hastings Law Magazine honoring prominent alumni who have made extraordinary contributions to their fields.
Roxane holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Art’s degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of California, Davis. Her board colleagues value Roxane’s integrity and outstanding collaboration skills.
