Christine is an experienced global board director and F500 C-Suite executive, with international supply chain and strategic growth experience in agriculture and food ingredients, and expertise in environmental, social and governance (“ESG”), M&A, compliance, governance and risk management. Her experience advising businesses in Latin America, Asia and EMEA contributed to successful business growth in both mature markets and developing countries.

Christine has boardroom experience, both as non-executive director and member of the Audit Committee and Human Resource & Remuneration Committee of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. (PSX: RMPL), and as corporate secretary for two Fortune 500 public companies. She current sits on the board of the Toledo Lucas County Port Authority, a public private partnership, which manages the seaport, airport and logistics and economic development projects throughout NW Ohio, serving on the Planning and Operations Committee and Government, Community and Human Relations Committee.

Christine is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of The Andersons (NASDAQ: ANDE), a F500 agribusiness which utilizes a complex global supply chain to source agricultural commodities to meet customer needs for food, fuel and feed. The Andersons’ renewables business manages four ethanol plants and sources renewable diesel feedstock to meet a growing demand for reducing carbon emissions. Christine manages the human resources, ESG and corporate communications functions, in addition to serving a chief legal officer and corporate secretary. She is the executive responsible for the Compensation and Leadership Development, and Governance and Nominating Committees of the Board. Prior to joining The Andersons in 2020, she served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for Ingredion, a NYSE listed F500 food ingredients company, and as the executive responsible for the Nominating and Governance Committee. In that role, she also managed the EHS and governmental relations functions.

In addition to the multinational spin-off of Corn Products International, Inc. (“Corn Products”), the predecessor of Ingredion Incorporated (“Ingredion”), Christine successfully closed and integrated transactions ranging from small, privately owned companies in South America, state-owned enterprises in China, and larger global transactions like the $1.3 billion acquisition of National Starch, the specialty starches business of AkzoNobel, which propelled Ingredion’s strategic transition from a core commodity supplier to a value added global specialty ingredients company. She has substantive experience in manufacturing, including in safety and environmental compliance. Her litigation background was instrumental in Corn Products’ $58 million award against Mexico in a NAFTA Chapter 11 arbitration.

Christine currently serves on the board of the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio (Audit Committee, CEO search committee). She is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Network. In 2019, she was certified as a diversity professional by the National Diversity Council.
